First challenge

Instructor Muffin has seen how carefully you worked through the chapter, and you have almost earned a new achievement. There is just one thing left to do: practise what you have learned.

Muffin sketched a website template on a napkin in the café. He also prepared the desired styles, and now he wants you to bring his template to life. To do this, all you have to do is mark up the existing text with the necessary tags.

This is an unusual assignment. Challenges are the most difficult assignments in courses. If you pass the challenge, then it proves that you have good command of the material.

Your goal is to use HTML and CSS to make the mini-browser preview match the sample as closely as possible. Click Compare to let the system compare your result with the sample.

The first challenge is fairly simple. This assignment requires you to use all of the tags that we have covered in the chapter. If you focus on the model, then the structure of tags can be understood from the block labels.

Please note that a tabbed panel has appeared in the learning interface.

SampleResultOverlayDifferences?

Please note: The “result” tab displays how our server sees your code. It compares this image with the model. You should consult this tab frequently, because sometimes the presentations in your mini-browser and on the server may differ. There are frequently discrepancies in the fonts.

You have 7 verification attempts per day. After you confirm your e-mail address, you will have 10 attempts per day instead of 7.

If you fail to pass the challenge today, you can still move on to the next chapters and retake the challenge tomorrow.
